  26. IMPORTANT -  THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU (EITHER AN INDIVIDUAL 
  27. OR AN ENTITY) AND WORLD'S EPSILON ENTERPRISE, INC. BY OPENING THE SEALED
  28. SOFTWARE PACKET CONTAINING THE SOFTWARE, AND/OR BY USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU 
  29. ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT, 
  30. AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.  YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT IT IS THE 
  31. FULL AND COMPLETE AGREEMENT BETWEEN US, SUPERSEDING ALL PRIOR  WRITTEN 
  32. OR VERBAL AGREEMENTS OF ANY KIND. IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR DO NOT 
  33. AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOU MUST CEASE USING THIS PRODUCT

  37. 1.  GRANT OF LICENSE. World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. grants to you
  38. ("Licensee") a non-exclusive license to use RussPack(tm)-DEMO version
  39. (hereafter, "Software") without fee.  Licensee may distribute the Software
  40. to third parties provided that the copyright notice and this statement appear
  41. on all copies.  Licensee agrees that the copyright notice and this statement
  42. will appear on all copies of the software, packaging, and documentation or
  43. portions thereof.
  44.  
  45. 2.  COPYRIGHT.  The SOFTWARE is owned by World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. or
  46. its suppliers and is protected by United States copyright laws and
  47. international treaty provisions.  Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE
  48. like any other copyrighted material (e.g. a book or musical recording).
  49. By downloading, using or copying this Software, Licensee agrees to abide
  50. by the intellectual property laws, and all other applicable laws of the US,
  51. and the terms of this License. 
  52.  
  53. 3.  OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  You may rent or lease the SOFTWARE. You may transfer
  54. the SOFTWARE and accompanying written materials on a permanent basis provided
  55. the recipient agrees to the terms of this Agreement.  You may not reverse
  56. engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE.  If the Software is an update
  57. or has been updated, any transfer must include the most recent update. World's
  58. Epsilon enterprise, Inc. shall have the right to terminate this license
  59. immediately by written notice upon Licensee's breach of, or non-compliance
  60. with, any of its terms.  Licensee shall be liable for any infringement or
  61. damages resulting from Licensee's failure to abide by the terms of this License.

  64. Limited Warranty
  65. LIMITED WARRANTY.  This program is provided "as is" without any warranty 
  66. of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, 
  67. the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular 
  68. purpose.  The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the 
  69. SOFTWARE is with you, the licensee.  Should the SOFTWARE prove 
  70. defective, you assume the risk and liability for the entire cost of all 
  71. necessary repair, service, or correction.  Some states/jurisdictions do 
  72. not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion 
  73. may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, 
  74. and you may have other rights, which vary from state/jurisdiction to 
  75. state/jurisdiction.

  77. World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. does not warranty the functions contained
  78. in the SOFTWARE will meet your requirements, or that the operation of the 
  79. SOFTWARE will be error-free or uninterrupted.

  82. World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. and its suppliers disclaim all other
  83. warranties, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied

  90. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  To the maximum extent permitted 
  91. by applicable law, in no event shall World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. or its

  93. limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, 
  94. loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out 
  95. of the use or inability to use this World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. product,
  96. even if World's Epsilon enterprise, Inc. has been advised of the possibility
  97. of such damages or for any claim by any other party. Because some
  98. states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability
  99. for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply
  100. to you.

  102. U.S. Government Restricted Rights
  103. The SOFTWARE and documentation are subject to export controls under the United
  104. States Export Administration Act, as amended, which Act prohibits exports of
  105. certain commodities and technical data, including software, to specified
  106. countries.  In particular, the SOFTWARE may not be exported to Cuba, Iran,
  107. Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria.  You hereby certify that neither
  108. the SOFTWARE nor the documentation will be transmitted or forwarded outside
  109. of your country.

  111. If you acquired this product in the United States, this Agreement is governed
  112. by the laws of the State of New York.

  120. Installing RussPack-DEMO
  121.  
  122. System requirements:
  123. Any 386 or faster IBM-compatible computer (486/66 recommended), 4 MB RAM
  124. (8 MB recommended), 1 MB of free disk space, Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT,
  125. Windows 3.1 or MS-DOS 5.0 (or newer).
  126.  
  127. To install RussPack-DEMO:
  128. 1. Insert disk into your floppy drive.
  129. 2. In Windows 95 select the Start button from your Taskbar and choose Run from
  130.    the displayed Start menu. In the displayed Run dialog type a:\setup.exe or
  131.    b:\setup.exe. Click on the Ok button in the dialog box. Follow the
  132.    instructions of the installation program.
  133.    In Windows 3.1 in Program Manager choose Run from the file menu. In the
  134.    displayed Run dialog type a:\setup.exe or b:\setup.exe. Click on the Ok
  135.    button in the dialog box. Follow the instructions of the installation
  136.    program.
  137.    In MS-DOS prompt type a:\setupdos.exe or b:\setupdos.exe. Press Enter
  138.    button. Follow the instructions of the installation program.
  139. 3. During the installation process RussPack files will be copied to the
  140.    directory c:\games\russpack. RussPack will be launched at the end of the
  141.    installation procedure.

  145. Object of the game:
  146.  
  147. The object of the game is to reach the highest possible level as quickly as
  148. possible.
  149.

  152. To play RussPack: 
  153.  
  154. 1. In Windows 95 select the Start button from your Taskbar and choose Run from
  155.    the displayed Start menu. In the displayed Run dialog type
  156.    c:\games\russpack\rpdemo.exe. Click on the Ok button in the dialog box.
  157.    In Windows 3.1 in Program Manager choose Run from the file menu. In the
  158.    displayed Run dialog type c:\games\russpack\rpdemo.exe. Click on the Ok
  159.    button in the dialog box.
  160.    In MS-DOS prompt type "cd c:\games\russpack". Press Enter button. Type
  161.    "rpdemo.exe". Press Enter button.
  162. 2. Press any button to start the game. You will see:
  163. 4X4 square made from different color objects;
  164. One spare object on the same playing field;
  165. Game Timer - it shows the total time you spent to reach the current level;
  166. Level Timer - it shows the time you spent on the current level;
  167. Line Timer - it shows the time you have to delete a row or a column.
  168. 3. You should move spare object by arrow keys in order to collect objects of
  169. the same color in any row or a column. You can move it also by mouse.
  170. As soon as any row or a column consists only of the same color objects,
  171. it disappears.  If you unable to collect objects of the same color in any
  172. row or a column before Line Time is up, a new additional row or a column will
  173. appear. You will go to the next level as soon as all rows and columns
  174. disappear.
  175. 4. To exit the game at any time press ESC button.
